Next Up: Forced Shamnesty

by BD Pisani ♦ 24 apr 2010

In terms of resources and political will, it is obvious that the Obama regime refuses to enforce the law or take necessary measures to thwart illegal immigration; Yet no effort has been spared by the regime to condemn elected officials in beleaguered border states who do:

When ranked in levels of critical importance, the Obama regime has ordained that gaining a massive bloc of future Democrat voters while expanding the ranks of those dependent upon government largesse trump national sovereignty and a secure citizenry.

Elated and quite naturally emboldened by their unstoppable successes of nationalizing the auto industry, appropriating the control of banking, paying off special-interest cronies with hundreds of billions of dollars the nation doesn't have, and forcing government-run health care rationing on 80 percent of Americans who don't want it, the Obama regime and Democrat Congress will next use their muscle to force amnesty for more than 20 million illegal aliens -- and as quickly as possible.

Why the hurry? Because the regime is well aware that the first Tuesday of November is a mere 191 days away. Obama and his Democrat minions must ram through as much statist-based control as they can to strengthen their power base before an angry electorate throws them to the curb in the national elections.

However, the regime also realizes that by socializing the nation and garnering millions of adoring new voters -- coupled with a gullible voting public notorious for its short attention span and shorter memory -- their time on the political sidelines will be brief indeed.

A few pesky years of sabotaging the best efforts by whomever replaces them, then it's back in power, stronger than ever, and on to the business of finishing off a weakened, once-great nation.

Obama regime attacks

The premeditated murder of Arizona native Robert Krentz on his own ranch by assassins from Mexico was the most recent of too many ugly border incidents involving illegal aliens and Mexican drug smugglers. It was also the most heinous.

The cold-blooded killing was the tipping point that led Arizona Governor Jan Brewer to plead with the Obama regime to engage federal agencies and armed troops to secure the border. Meanwhile, a frustrated Arizona Legislature, besieged by an overwhelming majority of the state's concerned electorate, proposed and easily passed legislation to aid in stemming the invasion of illegal aliens at the state level.

Prior to enacting the legislation and predictably, the governor's fervent appeals were ignored by the regime. Instead, Obama vilified the Arizona Legislature and Governor Brewer while setting the stage for his vastly unpopular amnesty scheme:

"Failure to overhaul federal immigration laws will lead to 'misguided' efforts such as legislation passed in Arizona. Our failure to act responsibly at the federal level will only open the door to irresponsibility by others. That includes, for example, the recent efforts in Arizona."

Shortly after Obama's shameful public ridicule of Arizona and its beleaguered elected officials, a determined Governor Brewer signed the legislation into law.

Americans be damned

Governor Brewer ignored Obama's criticism and removed the shackles fom law enforcement in dealing with illegal aliens in Arizona, the nation's busiest gateway for human and drug smuggling from Mexico. It is shameful that Arizona must do the job Obama and the Democrat Congress -- for purely political reasons -- won't do: Taking the law and our borders seriously to protect the health, safety, and welfare of our citizens first -- and doing so without amnesty for 20 million illegals.

Governor Brewer correctly responded to the Obama regime's political chicanery with a succinct summation of the growing frustration among Arizona's law-abiding citizens:

"We in Arizona have been more than patient waiting for Washington to act, but decades of inaction and misguided policy have created a dangerous and unacceptable situation."

Words have meaning, and the definition of illegal is not debatable. America needs courageous elected representatives like those in Arizona who will withstand the relentless smear campaign with which they are now being assailed. Our nation's safety, security, and economic viability depend upon our support for proponents of strict, consistent, effective illegal immigration suppression and enforcement.

Radical racists, judicial activists

The difference between a legal immigrant and an illegal alien is comparable to the difference between a houseguest and a burglar. And as several recent polls have indicated, an overwhelming majority of American citizens agree. More than 75 percent of the U.S. population wants more strict enforcement of the immigration laws that already exist, plus additional measures to plug the loopholes and defend the nation against the efforts of activist judges and radical racist hate groups.

Right about now some readers may be scratching their heads in befuddlement and wondering, "Radical racist hate groups like La Raza, LULAC, and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund -- OK, I get it, but activist judges?"

You betcha.

In 1994, Californians passed Proposition 187 which de-funded state education, health care, and social services for illegal aliens. It was overturned by federal courts which declared it was interfering in immigration policy which was exclusively under federal jurisdiction. What immigration policy? Whose immigration policy?

The shamnesty push

According to Representative Lamar Smith, Obama and his Democrat Congress cronies seek to ram through a disastrous massive amnesty program for the more than 20 million illegal aliens. This is abominable, because their true identities, backgrounds, and possible affiliations with criminal or terrorist organizations is unknown and unknowable.

Furthermore, the Democrat Congress' Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act is a blanket amnesty scam. It will never be effectively administered by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) in a remotely efficient and secure manner. CIS is overloaded already and is utterly unable to deal with an onslaught of millions of new applications. Hello, fraud and graft. Hello, new army of bureaucrats.

Aside from placing further unpaid-for strain on our escalating debt burden, housing, law enforcement, fire rescue emergency services, jobs, the courts, hospitals, schools, and all medical practitioners, not to mention the costs involved in translating every document into the myriad of necessary languages to give them access to their "rights," an illegal alien amnesty will only serve to encourage more illegal aliens, as it has ever done.

Americans know this is true; We already saw the movie. We went through it during and after the failed amnesty of 1986, and we're paying for it today.

Stop the madness

The Obama regime and the Democrat Congress have no regrets about ensuring that the crimes of American nationals are relentlessly pursued and punishable until justice is done. Just ask Sergeant James Crowley about Obama's idea of justice. Yet the crimes of illegal aliens -- just being here illegally IS a crime -- are either ignored or rewarded.

The vast bulk of the illegal horde in question is not comprised of genuine asylum seekers, desperately driven to escape persecution and oppression, desperate to become citizens, learn English, and work to build a better America. Nor is it comprised of people who fervently desire assimilation into the American culture, society, and heritage. Few respect this nation, its customs, its language, or its constitutional rule of law.

Most are nothing more and nothing less than millions of lawbreakers who illegally scurried across our national border. They don't want to earn citizenship the legal way. Their primary concerns are making money to send back to what they will always consider their home country, taking advantage of America's burgeoning social welfare network, or having their babies born in the United States, thus illegally locking in citizenship and its automatic welfare paydirt for their offspring.

Reality

Harsh words, harsh reality. If this was not so, if they truly wished to be real Americans, each and every one of the illegal aliens would turn themselves in and begin the legal process for alien residency and lawful employment.

Don't hold your breath. I'm right. It will never happen.

Obama and the Democrat Congress will see to it that Americans will be forced to acquiesce to their every whim, pay for their every need, and pardon the forging of our government documents as well as the intrinsic fraud, lies, theft, and deception they must naturally practice to remain undetected. And we will be forced to pardon the greedy businesses that employ them. No, wait ... the businesses are American ... that means the Obama regime will persecute them to the fullest extent of Obama law.

The Obama regime will ensure that 20 million illegal aliens will be given, gratis, what nine generations of legal immigrants, indentured servants, and slaves scrimped, suffered, bled, and died for.

Hype and Chains.
