Death of the People's House
Americans just witnessed the ideological rape of the Republic by the Obama regime and Democrat Congress. By arrogantly ignoring the will of the people, Democrats unwittingly rejuvenated vehement opposition to socialism and touched off a political war:
"Madam Speaker, this is not the president's House. This is not the Democrats' House. This is the People's House, and the American people don't want a government takeover of health care." Thus spoke Representative Mike Pence, Chairman of the House Republican Conference.
He was disdainfully ignored.
As the photo above attests, the Democrat Party minions are gloating now -- they have schemed America onto the socialist track, after all. But the fight has only just begun. Do they really understand just how angry the American People are? Simple answer: They don't care. They truly believe the abomination they just foisted upon the nation will stand. They truly believe they can now pass any legislation at will, at any time.
And so it may and so they may. It is an entitlement program, and as we all know -- like cancer -- it is nigh impossible to be rid of a nanny-ism once it festers. But it won't stand without a battle to the end, where this time no quarter will be given by a timid, once-accommodating Republican Party.
Blow-back
The Democrat Party has declared the American people irrelevant; The chamber once known as the People's House is now nothing more than a throne room for the Democrat political class -- a constitutional Charnel House. They have engaged in a socialist war on America, counting on we ignorant rubes to passively swallow whatever the ruling class "deems" appropriate for our meager subsistence.
Oh my, the unfathomable depth of Democrat insolence is astounding...
No legislation so vastly unpopular and so costly in wealth and freedom has ever been forced upon the nation by such a slim margin. And the only bipartisanship displayed in the vote was on the side of those against Government-run Health Care Rationing.
If there are any remaining Democrats with common sense, they might want to start heading for the storm cellars right about now. There is a powerful backlash brewing -- it has been building for some time now -- and its fury will soon be unleashed.
The People versus statist elites
Republicans are only now awakening to the realization that RINOs kill. Appeasing leftists, like appeasing terrorists, never works. Taxing and spending like Democrats never works. They're getting the message. Which is why you will see:
1. Republicans, Conservatives, Independents, Libertarians, a significant majority of the American people, and a significant majority of state governments in a united front against the Obama regime, the Democrat Congress, and their special-interest lackies.
2. Republicans and their new-found support cohort will use the socialist ObamaCare scheme as a cudgel to incessantly bludgeon Obama and the Democrat Congress right up to November 2, Election Day.
3. After the election this November you will see the Republican Party leaner, tougher, and more conservative than ever before, even more so than in 1994. Why? Because there exists no greater example of why RINOs will be thinned from the party's ranks than the bloated, fly-blown, nation-killing pestilence that is ObamaCare.
4. Should the House be freed from its hostage crisis and restored to its rightful place as The People's House, a plethora of legislation designed to dismantle or repeal ObamaCare will be passed on a regular basis.
5. Should the Senate be freed from its hostage crisis and its once-revered decorum restored, passage of such legislation will quickly follow suit.
If 4 and 5 come to pass, Obama will be forced to repeatedly veto legitimately-passed legislation in full view of the American people, thereby diminishing, if not dooming, his reelection bid.
A multitude of scenarios come to mind, but one thing is certain: A war is about to begin. This war will not be brief nor will it be pretty -- but it is necessary for America's sake, for the sake of our Constitution, and for the future of our children. Democrat Party, ye know not what you do — or what you have awakened.
