Christmas Eve Betrayal
Negotiations are over; The deals have been made. Key Democrat Senators have sold their principles and their souls for Judas silver in the modern guise of political expediency:
This Christmas Eve at around 7:00 PM EST, the Democrat Senate will pass their 2,000-plus page version of Obamacare. Why, when most Americans don't want it?
Because thanks to the weakness of Democrats Mary Landrieu (Louisiana), Blanche Lincoln (Arkansas), Ben Nelson (Nebraska), and others, the thoroughly unconscionable Harry Reid now has the 60 votes necessary to close debate.
Because Obama, Reid, and Nancy Pelosi can turn an 80-year-old Democrat Party central planning dream into reality -- regardless of the harm it will do to the nation.
They betrayed your trust
The Democrat Senators who vote to implement Obamacare are betraying the very people they are constitutionally mandated to represent. An overwhelming majority of Americans are satisfied with their current health care and are definitely opposed to Obamacare:
This week, Rasmussen showed:
57 percent of voters nationwide saying that it would be better to pass no health care reform bill this year instead of passing the Obamacare plan currently being considered by Congress, with only 34 percent favoring passing that bill.
Rasmussen also showed that:
54 percent of Americans now believe they will be worse off if Obamacare passes, while just 25 percent believe they'll be better off.
Yet the Democrat Congress, indifferent to raging unemployment, failing small businesses, and insane budget deficits are on the cusp of forcing Americans to pay increased health care costs and submit to rationed care -- against their will.
A reckoning is coming
Just as Obama, Reid, and Pelosi are ignoring the will of the people on health care, they are also doing the same over a plethora of economy-destroying schemes that include the hoax-derived Carbon Tax,"The American public, mainly conservative and populist, is in a mood not seen since the dark days of the Jimmy Carter Era." increased corporate and personal income taxes, and unregulated Executive Branch commissars decreeing national policies in lieu of congressional legislation.
Americans are angry, and getting angrier as each day passes because they now know; They see themselves being ruled rather than served -- ruled without representation.
According to a NBC-Wall Street Journal poll, the popularity of the Democrat Congress is tanking and, along with Obama, has huge negative favorable/unfavorable ratings.
Yet William Kristol recently observed that, conversely, the Tea Party movement -- the law-abiding, hard-working Americans State Media loves to insult and belittle -- is steadily gaining traction with the American people. Tea Party ideals have a net-positive 41 percent to 23 percent score across the nation.
The American public, mainly conservative and populist, is in a mood not seen since the dark days of the Jimmy Carter Era. There will be a terrible reckoning at the polls 316 days from today.
Meanwhile, fight on
The damage is done with more on the way. Those of you who wanted to "punish" your congressional or senatorial representatives in 2006 and 2008 (assisted by a considerable propaganda blitz by State Media) did it so well that now, with Obama's socialist agenda in full swing, it is America that is being punished.
Obamacare, raging deficits, raging debt, raging unemployment, the climate hoax, union thuggery, union payoffs, ACORN scullduggery, ACORN payoffs, special-interest payoffs, near-total autocratic control of banking, lending, retirement fund, investment, and housing capital, auto manufacture, government schools, and state-controlled media. Censored speech will be implemented with some version of the Fairness Doctrine, the Second Amendment will soon be quashed, and oh by the way, get ready for a slew of tax increases.
But do not despair, do not give up hope. Many of the evils the Democrat Congress and Democrat Party have in store for America have not yet been implemented, and much of Obamacare does not come into play for several years. What one congressional session does, another session or two can undo.
So keep on fighting, continue to contact your congressional representatives, and become engaged in local politics, in any capacity. It is heartening that the Democrat Party owns this entire, sorry mess and will pay dearly for their arrogance, pay dearly for defying the very people they are supposed to serve.

One other finding of the NBC-Wall Street Journal poll underscores the problem for Democrats; Thirty-eight percent said their member of Congress deserves to be reelected, but 49 percent said it is time to give a new person a chance. That is identical to the percentage who said to give a new person a chance a month before the 1994 Republican Party landslide.
