Americans are the enemy
We are witnessing a relentless, ever-growing groundswell of opposition to the Obama administration and the Democrat Congress.
As if awakening from a binge-induced stupor, Americans are beginning to groggily reassert their essential role in preserving the sanctity of our constitutional Republic.
The tipping point? Government-run Health Care Rationing.
False promotion, false governance
American trust, fairness, and gullibility elected a stealthy socialist congressional majority and president wrapped in the guise of moderation. American apathy then gave license to non-bailouts, seizure
of industries, non-stimulus, cap-and-tax, stooge payola, state-run media, business losses, job losses, soaring deficits, unregulated czars, and a weakening dollar.
However, during the past eight months these follies piled up one after another, slowly stoking the ember of discontent that lie smoldering beneath the deceptive sobriety of Americans. ObamaCare was the final armload of kindling that ignited a civic wildfire across the country.
This "deceptive sobriety" was once known as The Silent Majority, a term now considered by elites to be passé. It appears that the reports of its demise were premature.
Typical of the millions awakening to the loss of freedom is Nancy Snyder, a 70-year-old nurse from Philipsburg, PA, who attended a town hall meeting with Democrat Senator Arlen Specter.
Ms. Snyder says she kept quiet when abortion was legalized and prayer in schools was eliminated. "They did it for prayer, they did it for abortion, and they're not going to do it for our health care, not this time." Ms. Snyder added, "We're not standing back this time."
Government, media collusion
It is no secret that "news" stories presented 24/7 by State-run Media in no way reflect reality. Instead, events are selectively cited and depicted so as to promote leftist ideology, while at the same time savagely attack any and all who dissent.
Do you oppose abortion? Illegal aliens? Are you a military veteran? Congratulations. You are now on Czarina Janet Napolitano's DHS Potential Extreme Terrorist Watch List.
Do you oppose Government-run Health Care Rationing? Question Obama's policies? Congratulations. You may have already been ratted out by a neighbor and placed on Obama's White House Enemies Flag List (He claims it's just to contact dissenters, to explain to them ... yeah, sure it is.)
And so here we are. Those of us who oppose government intrusion and loss of personal liberties -- hard-working, law-abiding people like you and Nancy Snyder -- are now considered potential terrorists and enemies by the very government we elected to serve the people.
"They are rabble-rousers and Nazis"
Obvious examples of a coordinated suppression of truth are evident even to those who voted for Obama, omens portending a significant threat to the freedom and individual liberties of every American, regardless of political stripe.
The Speaker of the House has accusedEver imagine you would witness such gutter filth from a president and Congress directed against concerned, law-abiding Americans? dissenting Americans of Nazism. The Senate Majority Leader accused them of being rabble-rousers and paid thugs. Democrat congressional members are accusing their own constituents of being liars, right-wing fanatics, a radical minority, and ignorant.
The president has accused dissenting Americans of lying and using community organizers (what irony!) to disrupt his propaganda meetings. He has extolled supporters to "punch back twice as hard." Union thugs, heeding their president, are now physically attacking and harming peaceful protesters.
Did you ever imagine that you would witness such gutter filth from a sitting president and Democrat Congress directed against honorable, concerned, law-abiding Americans?
And what of the media? State-run Media long ago whored away its journalistic integrity and objectivity essential to address any of this with honesty, fairness, or balance.
Wear the label with honor
More and more Americans are adding their voices to a populist backlash. Many of those raising their voices and signs at the town halls never have been politically active. All have reached their tolerance limit with growing government intrusion.
To Obama, Pelosi, Reid, Schumer, Durbin, Frank, and the rest of that radical ilk: Is Nancy Snyder your enemy? Are the tens of millions like her your enemies like you publicly say they are?
If so, it proves that we are now governed by an elite group that despises liberty. They are assaulting liberty at every turn and the very future of this country's freedom is at risk. If we lose this issue, we lose as a nation. It will serve as a blueprint for the complete eradication of freedom from every aspect of life in this country.
Always remember that finding common ground or bipartisanship are not alternatives. Partial tyranny is still tyranny -- and "partial" never lasts for long.
