1. Time to get involved
This past Friday, 31 July, the House Energy and Commerce Committee approved, 31-28, a modified health care bill. The stage is now set for full-blown, no-holds-barred demagoguery after Congress returns from its August recess.
Meantime during the congressional recess, you will hear nothing from the State-run Media but adulation for the nimbus of heavenly splendor that awaits you, if only you believe.
Pretentiously confident
Speaker Nancy Pelosi, with a huge Democrat majority, has smugly guaranteed that HR 3200, the Government-run Health Care Rationing Bill, will be approved as soon as House Members return from visiting their home districts and constituents.
Senate Leader Harry Reid, with a filibuster-proof majority of 60 Democrats, guarantees that the Senate will approve the Affordable Health Choices Act, its version of Government-run Health Care Rationing.
All this, mind you, when a series of recent polls all indicate that a majority of the American people do not favor the Democrat Government-run Health Care Rationing proposal.
August. Just a few, brief weeks remaining till they return.
We have until 4 September to contact our representatives and senators before they return to rubber-stamp approval on the government takeover and "reinvention" of 15 percent of the American economy.
They are lying to you
Please apply some common sense here; Just think for a moment.
A handful of privileged people, many who never even ran a small business or worked in the private sector, actually want you to believe that they can effectively reinvent -- and micro-manage -- the entire American health care system.
They want you to believe that they can bureaucratically oversee the world's premier health care system without higher taxes, bigger government, reduction of services, decrease in care quality, or quotas and waiting lists.
And they want you to believe immediately. Why? The polls, remember the polls.
Obama and the Democrat Congress want you to believe this fantasy even though the House and Senate proposals clearly refute everything they say as they try to sell us snake oil.
Sound familiar? Can you say TARP? Stimulus?
They must get this health hoax operational before the American people know all of the details.
For those of you who think the Washington elites are more than capable, ask yourselves: How are those U.S. Postal Service deficits doing? How are those Amtrak losses coming along? How smoothly is that ridiculous Cash for Clunkers program being managed?
Ahem. Think about this as well:
By their own admission, these statist charlatans don't know where the stimulus money is going, don't know where the bank bailout money went, and can't even get a minor little fly-speck of a program like Cash for Clunkers to function properly.
Yet these same bumblers demand that we believe they can effectively oversee 15 percent of the United States economy and literally hold the lives of our families in their hands!
Their record is a disgrace
Remember, this is the same congressional bunch who created the banking mess we now have. The same congressional bunch who created the housing mess we now have.
The same congressional bunch who are stimulating their friends and political allies with hundreds of billions of our tax dollars whilst they bankrupt the country and place our children in debtor's bondage.
The same bureaucratic elites who will never -- NEVER -- suffer with the inadequate, diminished, mandatory Government-run Health Care Rationing system they will force upon us.
Their fondest hope is that we are gullible enough to believe them, just long enough for them to ram this health care abomination down our throats.
Have you read the House and Senate versions?
Of course you haven't because Obama and the Democrat Congress have kept it from average citizens, citizens who wouldn't normally or cannot take the time to find them in print.
Gee, how about State-run Media? Haven't CBS, PBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, MSNBC, The New York Times, Washington Post, LA Times, and the rest of those Democrat Party bootlickers detailed what is REALLY in the legislation?
Didn't you ever wonder, just once, why State-run Media has mimicked their masters' talking points whilst keeping you in the dark about what is actually planned for you?

It's business time -- get busy
Throughout August, B2J will present articles based upon data from the Democrat proposals listed above, the Congressional Budget Office, and Bureau of the Census.
You will have access to facts on issues about which Obama and the Democrat Congress have been lying.
But most important, you will be offered an opportunity to stop an abominable wrong, a wrong that will permanently harm America and Americans.
And you can stop it -- you have the power -- whether the Democrat Party has overwhelming control of Congress or not. You can stop it just like you stopped the wrong-headed statist amnesty for illegal aliens fiasco.
If you write and phone your Representative and Senators, they will listen, even the Democrats. Some Democrats will listen because they truly serve to further the wishes of their constituents rather than their own. Others will listen because they are self-motivated -- they want to be re-elected.
Unfortunately, too many Democrats such as Pelosi, Kennedy, Frank, Schumer, Boxer, Waxman, Reid, Waters, Durbin, Conyers, and their ilk will never listen because they are secure in Blue states or districts, and they are absolutely committed to radical statism.
Which is why it is crucial to contact the non-statist Democrats, the moderate ones who still value American ideals like individual freedom, liberty, and the Constitution.
If your Representative or Senators are Republican, write and telephone them as well. It is important they know that you are supporting them -- particularly those six or eight wobbly fence-sitters in the Senate.
And write often, phone often. Get your relatives and friends to do the same. Offer your opinion in your local newspaper -- politicians track those comments, too. For you bloggers, feel free to use whatever you find of value here at B2J.

They will hear your opposition to what amounts to a systematic government hijacking of our health and medical systems:
Theft masked by economic crisis, stealth legislation, and lies.
