Stimulated manure

by BD Pisani ♦ 12 jul 2009

So there was Joe Biden, performing on This Week With George Socialistoulos. Yup. America's lovable, laughable, ludicrous lug Clueless Joe, lamenting how "Everyone guessed wrong" about the economy's weakness. Say What?

Phew ... as if that fly-clad pile of ordure wasn't putrid enough.

Steaming ...

Hype and Chains Pedagogue-In-Chief Obama -- divining his plummeting approval ratings with Yoda-like prescience -- was compelled to condescendinglyDaddy Barack's Manure remind likely voters that reversing job losses takes time, and that he "misread" just how bad that evil warmonger George Bush's economy was. Meaning:

"You addle-headed dolts, we're saving you from yourselves -- you will give our political payoffs time to increase our power. Forget that our regime owns this mess; We are blameless because we say so.

No, we don't have a clue where most of the payoff money has gone, but it's not our fault. It's just that Statism is ponderous, inefficient, unwieldy, and heartlessly uncaring."

Er, um ... "Forget that last bit -- it was never said. Statism is streamlined, efficient, dexterous, and nurturing.

That's why for your own good, we're adding Health Care, Energy, Car Making, Banking, Housing, and Education to our sleek, well-run stable of Postal and Amtrak services."

Heaping, steaming, smelly piles of awful offal, you betcha.

Putrid ...

In early 2008, the Pelosi-Reid-Bush shotgun wedding pilfered nearly $200 billion of American wealth to selectively distribute as political payola. This scheme was sold as an emergency, an immediate necessity because unemployment was hovering at around five percent and the economy was in slowdown.

It was thought that unemployment might reach seven percent by mid-2009.

In early 2009, the Pelosi-Reid-Obama fetish orgy filched another $800 billion of American wealth to selectively distribute as political payola. This scheme was sold as an emergency, an immediate necessity because unemployment was hovering at nearly eight percent and the economy was in meltdown.

It was thought that unemployment might reach nine percent by mid-2010.

We should have been so lucky.

Piles of ...

How 'bout them tax rebates? I bet you're frivolously spending your six dollars per week on wanton consumerism, aren't you? Flocking to stores, stimulating the economy, recklessly splurging on consumption?

Oh, that's right ... Economic data indicate that real consumption is plummeting like gullible America's faith in Hope, and that households are even more worried than they were last year about the Change for the worse in jobs, income, and debt.

OK, let's recap. So you don't throw up in your mouths, let's not include the multi-trillion-dollar TARPS I and II, this year's Obama budget and deficit, and all of the other wealth-grabbing schemes railroaded through by the Democrat Congress.

Just focus on $1.2 trillion in stimulus money within 13 months:

Ineptly disbursed by Big Government, wasted on political payoffs, cronyism, pork barreling, community organizing, economically dead-on-arrival Green Schemes, and special-interest agendas.

Wasting money on just about everything except creating private-sector jobs, stimulating small business growth, cutting government size and spending, and meaningful corporate and investment tax cuts to jump-start the economy.

Growing Statist bureaucracies and creating more business-strangling authoritative regulation.

Merde

And yet Obama, Clueless Joe, and the Democrat Congress are clamoring for not only another stimulus scheme, they want tax increases -- traditional tax increases and taxes from innovative new sources. It isn't enough that they have diminished America's competitive edge, dulled her comparative advantages over other nations, and weakened the Middle Class.

It isn't enough that they are shepharding America and her people toward subsisting on the barren ground of mediocrity.

No. They demand more. The Democrat House just passed its Cap and Tax Scheme, and Obama is now touting a National Value Added Tax (VAT) Scheme. A VAT taxes everything -- everything -- at every stage of production.

By the way, this is in addition to when Obama breaks his pledge not to raise taxes on couples making less than $250,000 per year. Won't happen, you say? Yuk yuk, you're so funny!

Think prices on energy, telecommunications, and everything you wear, eat, use, drive, and live in are high now?

Hype and Chains.
