We are waiting for you

by BD Pisani ♦ 04 March 2009

Where are you? We conservatives are waiting. Where is that conservative Republican with the dedication, courage, and vision to take over from Rush? That Governor, House Member, Senator -- someone, anyone -- with enough savvy and grit to wield the sword?

Quit wasting time on the Democrat Party's home field, playing defense, and complaining because it's not your ball or your rules.

Unwavering voice

It's time to give Rush Limbaugh some rest. He's been carrying the load, seemingly alone, and taking the arrows for us all. No one should wonder why the Left and the Democrat Party-owned Drive-by Media consider him Enemy Number One -- America has heard no one else consistently defend and extol the philosophy of conservatism.

He has not yielded, he has not bent, and despite vicious attacks from the Obama administration, Democrat Congress, Drive-by Media, and a few slimy, neer-do-well conservatives, he will never waver because he believes. He believes in his message and he roars it from the mountaintops.

Even Limbaugh's detractors grudgingly admit this to be true. And those of you who profess to be conservative and have turned your backs on him should be ashamed.

Isn't there anyone left other than the courageous Mr. Limbaugh to take up the calling, to be a positive herald of the good news that is conservatism? We are waiting for you. Where are you?

The time is now - Lead

Quit wasting energy flailing away in policy battles that you are guaranteed to lose -- you don't have the numbers to stop any of this anti-American madness -- yet. But you might in 2010 if only one of you would step up, speak out, and lead.

If just one of you would be consistent, be positive, stay on message, and explain to Americans WHY tax cuts and less government are the salvation of our economy and nation, your conservative peers would follow your example. And make no mistake: Your constituents would heed your words.

That's right, people will hear you just as they heard Ronald Reagan, just as they hear Rush Limbaugh because despite recent events, the United States remains a basically conservative nation.

The majority of our average, hard-working, tax-paying men and women across this great land, Republican or Democrat, are still basically conservative when it comes to most fiscal and societal issues.

They will listen if you relentlessly promote the conservative philosophy -- but only if it is clearly explained to them. Remember, every new generation must be energized -- do not assume that everyone knows there is a better way.

2010 is approaching - Lead

Now is the time to resolutely extol the seven principles of conservatism. Now is the time to relentlessly compare conservatism to Obamaism, to socialism, to the great harm Obama and the Democrat Party are doing to our country so that Americans see the difference.

Do this and your conservative policy will naturally follow.

Obama and his henchmen have set out to systematically destroy our nation's ability to create wealth and prosperity. Obama, Pelosi, and Reid are actively seeking to destroy the private sector and plunder its wealth to grow authoritarian government.

Now is the time for that stalwart to come forward, to vigorously laud conservative principles, to help Americans understand the why of conservatism rather than the what.

We are waiting for you. We are here, we will help. Where are you?
