Label it what it is
C'mon ... why all the pussyfooting? Why doesn't any news agency worthy of the word ethical simply label what the Democrat Party and their Drive-by Media propaganda wing say and do exactly what it is? It would be refreshing, just once, to hear or read a statement something like: "Today, leading members of the Democrat Party once again lied to the American people in order to promote their political agenda."
Nobody - and I mean NOBODY -- except the radical Left, the extremely gullible, and the rabidly partisan members of the Democrat Party believes anything these chronic prevaricators say any more. So why not label all of the Democrat Party lies as lies?
Congressional lies
Since the 2000 election of President Bush but especially since the 2006 election, we have been bombarded with lies vomited forth from the gullets of Democrat Party senators and representatives - and you all know the usual suspects. From their lies about war atrocities to lies about prisoner treatment to lies about the economy to lies about backgrounds of military volunteers to lies about Hurricane Katrina to lies about Rush Limbaugh to lies about ... it goes on and on and on. And now the latest:
"The Democrat Party and their propaganda wing known as the Drive-by Media are at it again. More hatred and more lies ..."
Just this week, we have approximately one million Californians displaced by raging forest fires, nearly 1,500 private homes and God only knows how many businesses destroyed thus far, and what are we subjected to?
Hatred. Mean-spiritedness. And oh yes - Lies. That's right, the Democrat Party and their propaganda wing known as the Drive-by Media are at it again. More hatred and more lies.
Liar number 1: Boxer
First there's Democrat Senator Barbara Boxer of California. Is she helping to coordinate fire fighting efforts in her home state? No. Is she coordinating federal relief efforts? No. Is she in contact with the White House, working in bipartisan fashion to streamline the way for federal recovery assistance? No. Then what is she doing?
Democrat Barbara Boxer is blaming the spread of the wildfires on President Bush and the Iraq War. She attacked the mission in Iraq, laying blame on America's effort to destroy terrorism with the deployment of U.S. troops in Iraq for hindering fire-fighting efforts in California. Boxer stated that "Because of the war, the California National Guard didn't have the equipment to fight the fire."
These are blatant Democrat Party lies.
Democrat Boxer is politicizing the tragedy that has befallen her California constituents by fomenting hatred and spreading lies. What must the people who have just lost everything, the innocent victims of a forest fire, think when they hear this disingenuous woman?
Liar number 2: Reid
Then there's Democrat Harry Reid of Nevada. Not only is he also blaming President Bush for the fires, he insists that the fires are the result of Global Warming!
These are blatant Democrat Party lies.

Liar number 3: Garamendi
Then there's Democrat John Garamendi, Lieutenant Governor of California. This Cal Berkeley leftist brain surgeon isn't blaming President Bush for the fire, but he's claiming that California's National Guard is so depleted by "Bush's War in Iraq" that they can't put the fire out. He also intimated that he didn't want President Bush to visit the fire scene because "he did nothing for New Orleans, so he won't do anything for us." He gratuitously added that he might be "civil" if the president did visit. How big of him.
These are blatant Democrat lies.

And oh by the way ... Today Republican Governor Schwarzenegger publicly chastised the lieutenant governor for his irresponsible comments - but he did not name him a liar. He should have - see what I mean?
Liar number 4: CNN
And then there's this: According to The Drudge Report, notes obtained from CNN's Monday news meeting network president Jon Klein told employees to use the California fire tragedy to "push" their Planet in Peril special, but warned reporters not to "irresponsibly link" the fires to "Global Warming." Gee, CNN lying ... what a surprise ...
Say What? ANY linking of the fires to Global Warming is irresponsible.

Not enough shame to go around
Shame on these people and agencies for trying to take a political shot at the missions and abilities of our troops during a time of crisis in California. Now is a time for people to come together to help one another during this awful natural disaster. Thousands of Californians have lost their homes, or may lose them soon, and the focus should be on how to help these people, not play petty and pathetic political games.
If the Democrat Party is so concerned about insufficient military equipment, it should stop voting against military appropriations.
Besides being shameless, these Democrat Party lies are, well, lies. As Secretary for Homeland Defense Paul McHale declared today: "I can tell you unequivocally that the ongoing war-fighting activities ... have had no negative effect at all (on) our ability to provide sufficient forces to assist civilian authorities in fighting the wildfires ... There is no manpower shortage."
Of course, for any of these liars to feel shame, they would have to be in possession of a conscience.
