Mrs. Clinton '08? Mais non — John Francois Kerry!
The B2 Journal, contrary to "smart and savvy" opinions emanating from Drive-by Media pundits and pundettes, believes that the kerfuffle over New York's junior senator and her bid for the Oval Office in 2008 is nothing more than a hopeful media explosion of mental orgasms.
Mrs. Clinton, the former Hillary Rodham, personifies everything the Drive-By Media embraces and strives for, namely a socialist America and nothing less. This is why she has been anointed The Smartest Woman In America by partisan hacks and media flacks, and touted by them to be the next POTUS.
But the fact remains that despite don't-ask-don't-tell blanket protection from the Drive-by Media, a King Midas-like hoard of campaign contributions and more where that came from, a husband and former president with a popular liberal base, certified A-List name recognition, and rabid New York State-wide liberal popularity, Mrs. Clinton will not only fail to be the next President of the United States, she will not even be the Left's candidate.
Yup. You heard it here first and I'm going to bookmark this edition to see how my prediction turns out. "But B2, B2!" you ask, eyebrows arched in puzzlement and look of pathetic consternation on your puss, "Then whom do you think will be the leftist candidate for president in 2008?"
C'est tres facile, mes amis! For B2 there is only one answer: Monsieur Jean Francois Kerry-Heinz.
Why Hillary Cannot
Forget all about Clinton, Gore, and Edwards. Forget about Lieberman, Biden, and Schumer. Forget about Durbin, Feingold, and even Mark Warner. It will be John Francois Kerry. Despite manipulated polls, despite wall-to-wall, Drive-by Media coverage, softball questions, and daily positive spin and puff pieces, Mrs. Clinton is just too angry, just too shrill, just too vindictive, just too divisive, and just too unlikable.
Certainly, despite her newly-implemented triangulation scheme (learned from hubby Bill) she is every bit as liberal as Kerry and would retain leftist votes versus any moderate or conservative candidate. But the fact is, Mrs. Clinton is held in very low esteem by the ignorant, huddled masses — you know, we drooling hayseeds living in Hicksville, Middle America.
Card-carrying membership in those very same ignorant masses allows me to certify that no lies, no spin, no staged events, and no doctored polls will overcome the negatives saddling Mrs. Clinton. Not even when employed by the Smartest Woman In America.
Mais non, it looks like the voters of New York State will get the socialist senatorial representation they crave until at least 2012.
Why John Francois Can
John Francois Kerry, unlike al-Gore and the rest of the hopefuls mentioned earlier, still retains a highly effective support base amongst the leftist community. He continues to schmoozle for the adoration of the Drive-by Media and is shrewdly still married to his billionaire wife, Teresa. He also remains in the good graces of leftist billionaire George Soros and Moveon.org, so the coffers of the radical Left are his for the taking.
Unlike al-Gore after his failed 2000 bid, John Francois Kerry did not lose his mind, go off the deep end, and expose a disturbing, psychotic instability in a plethora of public meltdowns. By following the money, it is not farfetched to envision the power brokers who really control the Democratic National Committee believing that Kerry is the Left's best hope to win the White House in 2008.
Finally, did anyone ever, at any time, mention that John Francois Kerry is a Vietnam veteran (What's that you say? Well of course they have — a million times and it's still not enough to hide his abhorrence of our superb military — that's my point. Come on, lighten up and get with it ... a little humor when discussing Kerry is a good thing.)?
Why John Francois Will Fail
Despite all of America's troubles during the last few years, and short of disaster in Iraq or the complete collapse of our booming economic growth, Kerry is already primed for failure, just as he failed in 2004.
Why? Because John Francois Kerry has repeatedly proven himself to a majority of Americans that he is a liar, without conscience, and bankrupt of integrity.
The Swift Boat Veterans proved to be correct, showed him to be a liar about his military service, and that will never go away. Furthermore, Kerry's public assassination of and lying about our brave military men and women who were still serving in Vietnam during congressional hearings in the '70s is on tape and will never go away. But because lying is a way of life to John Francois Kerry, perhaps even genetically linked, there is more, much more.
Consider a litany of Kerry's flip-flops, and on just one subject, the misnamed War in Iraq:
- October 9, 2002 -- "The threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real, but as I said, it is not new. It has been with us since the end of that war, and particularly in the last four years we know after Operation Desert Fox failed to force him to re-accept them, that he has continued to build those weapons."
- October 12, 2002 -- "Yea" vote on authorizing military force to liberate Iraq.
- March 18, 2003 -- Even having botched the diplomacy, it is the duty of any president, in the final analysis, to defend this nation and dispel the security threat. . . . Saddam Hussein has brought military action upon himself by refusing for 12 years to comply with the mandates of the United Nations."
- September 9, 2003 -- "The vote is the vote. I voted to authorize. It was the right vote, and the reason I mentioned the threat is that we gave the--we had to give life to the threat. If there wasn't a legitimate threat, Saddam Hussein was not going to allow inspectors in."
- October 17, 2003 -- "Nay" vote on $87 billion to fund operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
- March 16, 2004 -- "I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it."
- September 30, 2004 -- "The president made a mistake in invading Iraq."
- September 30, 2004 -- Kerry answered "No" to a question from liberal media's Jim Lehrer, "Are Americans now dying in Iraq for a mistake?"
- June 13, 2006 -- " I was wrong to vote for that Iraqi resolution." Kerry stated to a loyal following at the Yearly Kos event that he made a mistake in supporting the war in Iraq, and then rebuked Mrs. Clinton (also a speaker) for failing to acknowledge that her support for the war was a mistake.
And this is only one issue. If you want a real stomach-turning eye-opener, check out Kerry's 30-year Senate voting history contrasted by his public oratory. It is plainly evident that John Francois Kerry portrays quite a contrast to ... oh, I don't know ... someone presidential who, right or wrong, consistently and clearly acts with conviction based upon deeply-held beliefs, doesn't he?
Ronald Reagan taught us all that to be a great leader, to be a principled leader, you must possess deep-rooted, firmly-held beliefs based upon sound moral values. When addressing your fellow citizens, you must steadfastly state those beliefs so that voters know beforehand exactly for whom they are (or are not) voting. And you must possess the courage to act upon those beliefs, even when polls and focus groups indicate that to do so is politically hazardous or detrimental to media-driven public approval ratings.
Now I ask you, does that sound like John Francois Kerry? Don't be ridiculous. But just for the record, that doesn't fit Mrs. Hillary Clinton, either.
The B2 Twist
The bottom line is that today, there are too few American voters who read, have a proper grasp of American English, or have been properly schooled in civics, free enterprise, and American History. Two generations worth of today's voters have been weaned on an entitlement mentality, are encumbered with a fundamental lack of self-reliance or sense of responsibility for their actions, and think that the nanny state is a good thing. Their collective attention span is not simply short - it's nonexistent. They are enamored with and formulate opinions based upon heavy-graphic glitz, propaganda sound bytes, and YouTube clips.
So what do all of my logical convolutions mean?
Forget everything you just read; money, the support of political power brokers, and mean-spirited aggression win modern elections. Ergo, Mrs. Clinton will be the Democrat Party nomination. That's my 2008 prediction and I'm sticking to it.
