Racial hate: Where are you, Dr. King?

by BD Pisani - 2006 feb 03

NAACP Chairman Julian Bond delivered a frenzied, hate-filled speech at North Carolina's Fayetteville State University, equating the Republican Party with the Nazi Party and defaming Secretaries of State Condoleezza Rice and Colin Powell, as "tokens." Racial hatred, at least for some, is alive and well...

Bond is the latest in a long line of poverty pimps who masquerade as black leaders while exploiting Black America for personal gain. While increasing numbers of Americans, of all racial backgrounds, have correctly come to regard Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, and others as con artists who gain money and power by promoting racial hatred and class warfare, at least they do so without hiding behind the facade of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People as does Julian Bond.

Tarnished leaders, declining membership

This is important to note because the NAACP, founded in 1909, was once an organization known for its devotion to civil rights and racial justice, a devotion fueled by integrity, universal brotherhood, religious moral principles, courage, and a real, tangible desire for true racial harmony in America. This is no longer the case.

Since the end of the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 1960s the influence of the NAACP has waned, and it has suffered declining membership and a series of internal scandals. Gone are the icons of freedom and peace personified in Roy Wilkins, Benjamin L. Hooks, Ralph Abernathy, and Martin Luther King. In their stead, a new breed of "leadership" emerged: Benjamin F. Chavis (now Chavis Muhammad), Kweisi Mfume (former congressman}, and Julian Bond. Each has proven to be blatantly racist in varying degrees, and each understands the economic and political potential of milking black trust and fueling the flames of hostility toward whites, all the while shielded under the protective umbrella of today's NAACP.

There are no more black leaders of integrity and selfless courage in today's America, just as there is no slavery or lack of opportunity for blacks. Those black luminaries who could and should serve as stellar role models for us all are routinely vilified as being "House Negroes" or savaged because they reject the folly of enslaving a segment of the population while punishing another by employing the socialist formula of redistributed wealth.

Moral bankruptcy

We are left with the dregs; Educated, articulate thugs such as Julian Bond who craftily understand that by inciting racial hatred and never letting "Whitey" off the hook, the lucrative but unfair and degrading practices of entitlement programs, special dispensation in the name of diversity, and racial quota systems will remain.

Bond and his ilk cannot afford to exhort blacks to take personal responsibility for their actions, promote open, moral, and ethical political debate, or uphold as shining examples those outstanding black citizens who through their own hard work reached pinnacles of success, thanks to the myriad opportunities afforded to all in the United States of America.

Instead, we hear Julian Bond at his hate-filled finest: "The Republican Party would have the American flag and the swastika flying side by side," or "President Bush is a liar, and this White House's lies are more serious than the lies of his predecessor's because Clinton's lies didn't kill people." We have Bond maligning former Attorney General John Ashcroft as J. Edgar Ashcroft, and comparing President Bush's judicial nominees to the Taliban. Bond is the quintessential example of today's modern black leader. Julian Bond is a race pimp, a soul-sucking leech who feeds on the riches stemming from his promotion of fear and helplessness on a trusting but gullible Black America. Yes, Julian Bond is quite the role model.

Race baiting and deceit

I suppose in one respect, Bond is correct about slavery; Slavery is alive and well. America's blacks are held in bondage by the Democrat Party, the Plantation Party. They must never be allowed to think for themselves or regard notable blacks who have striven for and achieved success on their own as anything other than Uncle Toms.

Blacks must never be allowed to learn that it was the Democrat Party that advanced the cause of segregation for so many years and until the 1960s, the Democrat-controlled Congress actively thwarted any and all attempts at integration. They must never learn that it was the minority congressional Republicans who enabled the passage of the Civil Rights Act in 1964. They must never learn that Bill Clinton's role model, Senator William Fulbright, and Al Gore's father, Senator Al Gore Senior, were avowed racists and did all they could to stem the tide of racial equality.

Blacks must never be given the opportunity to think about the fact that since the Civil War of 150 years ago, the Democrat Party has kept them in line on the plantation, used them and their votes to remain in power and garner wealth, and given absolutely nothing in return other than a forced dependence on piddling government handouts, a sense of powerlessness and despair, disgraceful inflammatory rhetoric, broken promises, broken dreams -- and hate.

Martin Luther King must be weeping in Heaven.
