Drive-by media ignored Canada's election

Now there's a surprise ... America's left-leaning Drive-by Media barely noticed and hardly reported that our closest ally, greatest trading partner, and friendly neighbor with whom we share a common 4,000-mile border just had a national election. Can you figure out why, boys and girls? Hmm?

Ahh, don't bother -- I'll tell you: Stephen Harper, Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, is now Prime Minister. That's it in a nutshell. The very liberal New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, Newsweek, PBS, CBS, CNN, ABC, NBC, CNBC, and MSNBC are now competing with one another to see who can lose the most customers and money while gleefully peddling a socialist agenda. Talk about Nero fiddling while Rome burned...

A conservative win in Canada and the country's rejection of its super-liberal and America-hating PM Paul Martin barely made a ripple in our leftist news stream, but for months on end, their coverage of Cindy Sheehan, avec thousands of photos, was round-the-clock.

In fact, the Drive-by Media's coverage of deranged Michael Moore's condescending, spiteful open letter to Canadians received more press in the United States than did the Canadian election itself. You see, a Harper victory is not only good news for a Canada facing some very serious problems; It's also good news for President George W. Bush and international relations, so we certainly can't let the American people know about it, now can we?

Drive-by Media's circulation numbers, viewer ratings, and advertising revenues continue to plummet, yet the media elites cannot figure out why. They refuse to face the reality that modern talk radio, the blogosphere, and Fox are booming, both financially and popularly. They are drowning in their own leftist bias and are beyond the reach of and have drifted away from the life preservers known as objectivity, integrity, and ethics.

You are watching the slow but certain death spiral of America's Drive-by Media. Enjoy.
