We should expect anything else from leftists?

Well, well, well. Dozens of U.S. House members who sponsored the nationwide instant background check system for gun buyers in 1993 or backed the expansion of that system in 2002, have shown no support for a similar database intended to identify illegal aliens trying to find work in the United States.

Some of these radically misguided yahoos have gone so far off the sanity reservation as to suggest that cracking down on illegal aliens is somehow analogous to criminal conduct by the American government, yet the act of denying Americans one of their guaranteed freedoms as mandated under the Bill of Rights is morally correct and bizarrely justifiable.

This is nothing more than anti-American hogwash. According to Erich Pratt, communications director for Gun Owners of America, "Evidently for this gaggle of congressional gun-haters, the Constitution only applies to illegal aliens, not American citizens," Pratt added the following, "It seems that some people are 'more equal' than others." And non-citizens to boot.

Hmm, let's see:

  • 1. Congressional socialists have no qualms about seriously increasing restrictions on gun ownership and expanding existing federal gun owner database usage to promote even more stringent control over and home invasion upon law-abiding CITIZENS;
  • 2. Congressional socialists are outraged that anyone would dare suggest stricter border enforcement to stop the millions of illegal NON-CITIZENS from crossing U.S. borders, and vehemently object to enforcing existing legislation that makes it unlawful for employers to knowingly hire or employ aliens not eligible to work, and required employers to check the identity and work eligibility documents of all new employees.

Can't you just smell the effrontery, the hypocrisy? I do and the stink is awful.
