Ask why the drive-by media lies, then say goodbye

They are biased. They now admit it since they have been caught lying daily. They lie to us through exaggeration. They lie to us by omission. They lie to us by inference. They lie to us by graphics manipulation. And all because they have a socialist agenda to champion.

Here's just a brief smattering of how the Drive-by Media lies to us - every hour of every day - doing the bidding of their politically socialist masters:

Trivial, you say? Hardly, because its reach is global and when done every day, it adds up. All of this abuse of the public trust has been documented and is verifiable. Just imagine all of the behind-the-scenes machinations we don't know about. They NEVER report what is REALLY happening in Iraq, all of the many good things our boys and girls are accomplishing over there ... Instead we get too many lies, too many to list.

In every way imaginable, the executive elites who oversee the disingenuous cabal that is ABC, BBC, CBS, CNN, NBC, MSNBC, PBS, New York Times, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, and Newsweek omit, subvert, embellish, or fabricate their way into your homes. You have to ask yourself: Why? Why has the Drive-by Media been so Hell-bent on harming America since the latter stages of the Vietnam War?

Why did the Drive-by Media prostitute their journalistic integrity, urinate on free speech ethics, and align themselves wholeheartedly with the Democrat Party? Why is it only recently that millions of Americans are catching on when they once innocently swallowed all they were fed?

The only game in town

The first question is easily answered. The Drive-by Media, along with its able allies in academia, has been solidly in the camp of the radical Left for generations now. Drunk on the power derived from the daily misrepresentation of what was happening in Vietnam and thus helping to expedite our shameful withdrawal, the murder of two million people, then giddy over chasing a conservative president out of office, this elite, imperious gang thought themselves invincible; untouchable. And they were right. I know. I served in the military. I was there and heard it all, saw it all, experienced it all.

Predictably, the rise and popularity of Ronald Wilson Reagan, the greatest American president in my lifetime, was justly seen by them not only as a threat to the socialist programs they promote, but as a harbinger of a great power shift that would soon occur in Washington and nearly every statehouse and legislature in the nation. Thus, they began to apply their disinformation campaign in earnest.

Reagan's a dunce, Reagan's a dolt, Reagan is no match for the other world leaders. SOUND FAMILIAR? But Reagan was a man of vision, a man of faith, a man of conviction. A good and decent man. It was he who swept away the malaise of Carter liberalism (defeatism) and jump-started the greatest economic boom in the history of civilization, he who restored the honor and pride of the military, he who, along with Lady Thatcher and Pope John Paul II, paved the way for the downfall of a truly Evil Empire, and he who restored the prestige of the United States around the globe.

Despite the Drive-by Media's worst and most vile efforts, President Reagan ultimately triumphed and rightly holds his position as one of America's greatest and most beloved presidents - because under Reagan's guidance, America triumphed. And so by the time the standard of conservatism was unfurled and firmly ensconced across the United States, the attacks, staged events, and lies of Drive-by Media increased -- and save for a powerful but lone conservative radio voice, still there was no movement effective enough to completely set the record straight, to tell the truth, to simply report the truth -- to be fair.

Tipping point

Then the leftist dike began to crumble. Thanks to the inspiring leadership and tutelage of President Reagan, as well as national weariness and angst due to Bill Clinton's obvious lack thereof, a miracle happened. In 1994, after 54 solid years of socialist control, Americans overwhelmingly set a new conservative course for the United States House of Representatives. The Drive-by Media was outraged and redoubled its efforts to attack any House member who was not of "their kind," while enabling and abetting any member who was.

And never forget that the Drive-by Media then and now, just like the liberal political toadies they serve, consider us average Americans as nothing more than stupid, ignorant hayseeds -- unwashed hicks in fly-over country who ignore their wisdom and who don't have the intellect to understand the benevolent glory of socialism.

This continued throughout the decade of the '90s; lying, deceiving, omitting, condescending, and embellishing to protect "their" president, while fabricating stories and egregiously reporting in any way possible to harm conservatives, who by now had also captured the Senate and most of the governors' mansions and statehouses. Pick a conservative, any conservative, and he or she was trashed.

Alternative media

But something else occurred in the latter part of the century that was to change everything -- an explosion of alternative media sources -- the New Media.

Prior to President Reagan and during his two terms, there were no powerful alternatives, no nationwide outlets in a country that was and remains 85 percent moderate to conservative to hear the truth, or at least be privy to another version of the truth. But that was about to change.

In 1988, Reagan devotee Rush Limbaugh ignited the imagination and hope of his listeners in the small radio market of Sacramento. His simple message was that he was just like his listeners, he understood their frustrations, and like them he believed in America and in the principles of President Reagan. 650 stations and 25 million listeners later, his honest and uncompromising conservative beliefs led him to ultimately become the most-listened to commentator in the history of broadcasting.

Properly giving credit where due, Rush Limbaugh almost single-handedly shattered the Drive-by Media's leftist hammerlock on the neck of America. He was a voice in the wilderness, a voice expressing EXACTLY what the vast majority of Americans were thinking each day, every day. Reagan led the Conservative Revolution; Limbaugh led the New Media Revolution. He still does and is as popular as ever.

The death of credibility

Rush Limbaugh revived the popularity of AM radio and wielded it as a deadly serious medium with which the radical leftists had to reckon. He mentored the explosion of literally hundreds of admiring, like-minded acolytes on America's airwaves, set the stage for the brilliant Fox News, and dare I say it ... served as a role model for hard-hitting Matt Drudge and today's myriad truth-seeking Internet bloggers.

America's best, most balanced, factual, and well-written reporting to be found anywhere is now routinely served up by these dedicated innovators, and the Drive-by media is threatened. They see their circulation numbers and broadcast shares plummeting like insect-infested, rotting apples falling from a tree.

Drive-by Media newspapers have now been caught fabricating circulation numbers to deceive advertisers. Drive-by Media broadcasters must now offer advertising discounts to retain sponsors. Air America, that uber-leftist radio "network" initially funded by socialist billionaire George Soros to mimic Limbaugh much like the Dark Lord of Morder spawned Orcs to mimic Elves, is an utter, miserable failure.

But perhaps the most horrible of fates has now stricken the Drive-by Media - they have lost their credibility. Ever-increasing numbers of the American people, ignorant rednecks and stupid though we may be, are seeing them for what they truly are. Journalism without credibility or ethics is no longer journalism ... it is propaganda.

I no longer watch or read any of the Drive-by Media I listed in the second paragraph, other than to check which lies they are currently pushing; There is now no need because I have so many credible news sources from which to choose.
