Thanks for supporting the USO
Once again, the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, and the United Service Organizations (USO) have come shining through for yet another generation of America's military men and women. My dad, myself, and my son all were able to find support and relaxation at USO functions and installations, and it continues for serving members of our military stationed around the world.
The American Legion and Auxiliary steadfastly support the USO and help make sure that our kids in harm's way know they are supported by the American people, even when the mainstream media, radical special-interest groups, and one liberal political party incessantly try to show them otherwise.
With such support as given by the Legion members and citizens, the USO brings a touch of home to more than 120 locations around the world where American troops serve. I give thanks for the outstanding generosity of my fellow citizens - it makes a difference with the troops and lets them know that despite all of the negativity they are subjected to, they are not alone and greatly appreciated.
Believe me, I know from another time and another war just how horrible that negativity can be.
